Why hello there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Stefani O'Connor a.k.a. Stephen's mom, Ayden's mom, Russ's wife, or Master O'Connor wife. As you can see I go by many names, and I actually answer to them. However, I don't answer to, "hey you, over there, with the face"..
I pretty much live full out everyday. GO BIG or GO HOME!! That's my motto and try not to have any regrets. I believe in starting everyday with a big, deliciously hot cup of coffee (especially from Starbucks), and a shout out to God! When you wake up try to focus on being thankful and looking for the positive in any situation, but sometimes I get off track..I'm not perfect!
I love doing the silly things in life, playing tag with my sons (monster tag is my 2 year olds favorite), reading a really good fantasy romance or thriller book. My oldest son has gotten me hooked on silly Youtube videos. I love music and dancing and singing...sometimes really badly,
I DO! His name is Russ and he's the love of my life and best friend. I thought after going through my divorce, I wouldn't find or fall in love again. Being a single mother of 2 boys isn't easy, which scared many men away. I thought he was gonna run for the hills as well. Boy was I wrong! Everyday is an adventure and it's been 5 years of happiness. We have our ups and downs, but at the end of the day I would marry him all over again.
Ironically, the year we got married, we also welcomed our first child together, Alexander. This little booger came January 27, 2011 at 11:44 am. He weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. He turned our family of 4 into a family of 5 and it's just been chaos ever since. He came out kicking and screaming and hasn't stopped yet.
My family is my world. We laugh, fight, cry, and yell together. I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. They inspire me to be better and do my best everyday. They allow me to laugh at myself and feel beautiful in my skin.
I started this blog because of my friends and random people always asking me how am I still sane with 3 boys. Having 3 sons has taught me a lot, over time. Many of the lessons I have learned, I've learned the hard way. When people ask me "how do you do it", I simply smile and reply, "By the grace of God and perhaps a glass of wine". I hope I'm able to inspire, motivate, and help other mothers, like so many mothers have done for me.
